--Have you been
watching PWX UNLEASHED? PWX UNLEASHED
airs every Saturday morning at 11:00 AM on WBGN,
Verizon Fios channel 22!
--PWX returns with
another TV Taping for PWX UNLEASHED! PWX presents "Takeover"
takes place this Friday night, May 17th, 2013 at the Wrestleplex at 2125 Beacon St.
in McKeesport at 7:30 PM.
--If you missed our last event, some major
changes took place all in one night. Benjamin C.
Steele, Stacy Hunter, & Marcus Mann have joined
Krystal Frost on the Championship Committee. Not
only is Quinn Magnum off of the committee, but
he has been FIRED from PWX by Steele, as has the
"One Man Militia" Matt Justice. Magnum & Justice
have since been removed from the PWX website.
The new committee, along with their clients, are
referring to themselves as the name Legion.
--The PWX Heavyweight Title will be on the line
twice in one night, as ruled by Legion! PWX
Heavyweight Champion Jack Pollock will defend
the title against the man who attacked him to
join Legion, Chris Taylor! The winner of that
match will then face Ashton Amherst! Steele
seemed to want to recruit Amherst to Legion
after Ashton pinned Pollock in the main event of
our last event, but Ashton just walked off. This
may be BCS's way of getting into Amherst's good
graces, granting him a title match against a
champion who will already have competed once in
the same evening! Which of these three men will
walk out of the Wrestleplex this Friday as the
PWX Heavyweight Champion?
--The PWX Three Rivers Title, the most defended
title in the area, will be on the line as
champion Dean Radford faces Legion's "American
Psycho" Chris LeRusso! LeRusso is a former
2-time champion himself, and the 2nd longest
reigning Three Rivers Champion in PWX history.
His 8-month title reign came to an end last
October at the hands of the current champion,
the seemingly unstoppable Radford. But, Radford
may be a bit distracted after the last event,
when "The Bev" Bobby Beverly stole the Three
Rivers Title belt with help from a distraction
by Scottie Gash! Will Radford's head be in the
game when he faces LeRusso, a dangerous man in
his own right?
--The PWX Tag Team Title situation is once again
in turmoil. The Greatest American Villains,
Legion's Robert Parker Williams & Dash Bennett,
defeated Shirley Doe & Mad Mike for the titles
with the help of Doe's now-former partner
Apollyon. During the course of the match,
Bennett injured his knee and will be out for
several weeks. In his place, BC Steele has
invited Apollyon to team with Williams and
defend the titles in Dash's absence. Their
opponents on Friday will be former champions
Shirley Doe & Mad Mike! Doe is steaming over
Apollyon turning his back on Doe, costing him
the titles and breaking up their team. What will
happen when this situation comes to a head on
Friday evening?
--The Best in Pittsburgh Finals will take place
on Friday June 7th at the Wrestleplex! Legion
has ruled that Chris LeRusso and Chris Taylor
have earned their way to the finals with their
exemplary records and will not compete in the
competition Friday. Instead, JR Mega, Gory, and
Jason Cage will square off in a match where the
loser will be eliminated from the competition!
Which two will move on to the finals, and which
will be forced to leave the competition?
--After Brandon K's victory against Nickie
Valentino, Krystal Frost & Stacy Hunter
confronted K and told him to "do the right
thing". Very odd words, considering Legion has
placed K in a match this Friday night against
the self-proclaimed "baddest man on the planet",
"Notorious" Shane Taylor! What did Frost &
Hunter have in mind for Brandon, and why is he
placed in such a dangerous situation by Legion?
--Two PWX stars' jobs are on the line this
Friday! Paul Atlas will face "The Spotlight"
Scottie Gash, and Deion Cruize will take on Nick
Mirra. If Atlas loses, he will be fired from
PWX, and if Cruize loses he'll be fired from
PWX! This Saturday could see the end of a
storied PWX career, or cutting short the
beginning of a very promising PWX career! What
do Legion have against Atlas & Cruize that their
jobs are on the line?
--Troy Lords will be in action Friday as he
takes on the returning Michael Blade! Blade
hasn't been seen in a PWX ring in over 16 years.
A powerhouse in the form of a junior
heavyweight, the ever-energetic Blade has
captured many titles and accolades across the
Pittsburgh area over the last decade and a half.
He comes to PWX faced with Troy Lords and his
new alliance, Initiative 51. It seems that
rather than oppose Initiative 51, Legion will
instead attempt to work with the group as
Krystal Frost hired them to take somebody in PWX
out. Who could it be?
--Legion has also placed a focus on The Beast
after Beast made several negative comments
regarding the new leadership on social media in
the last week and a half. Legion has promised to
address Beast this Friday night at Takeover!
What do Legion have in store for the veteran
monster?
--We hope to see you this Friday night at the
Wrestleplex! Bring your signs, be as loud as you
can be, get seen on TV! And remember, PWX
Unleashed airs Saturday morning, 11:00 AM
on WBGN, Verizon Fios channel 22!
--Have you been
watching PWX UNLEASHED? PWX UNLEASHED
airs every Saturday morning at 11:00 AM on WBGN,
Verizon Fios channel 22!
--PWX returns with
another TV Taping for PWX UNLEASHED! PWX presents "Crossfire"
takes place this Friday night, April 19th, 2013 at the Wrestleplex at 2125 Beacon St.
in McKeesport at 7:30 PM.
--The PWX Heavyweight Title will be on the line
in the main event as new champion Jack Pollock
defends for the first time against former
champion Ryan Reign and Burgh Brawl 17 winner
Ashton Amherst! Pollock finally won the title at
our last event from Reign. But later in the
evening, Reign and Amherst were the final two
men in Burgh Brawl 17 battle royal to earn a
title shot. Amherst dropped Reign on his head on
the entrance ramp and disposed of him to the
floor to win and earn his shot at Pollock. But,
as soon as he came to, Reign envoked his rematch
clause of his championship contract and a triple
threat match was signed! Who will walk away from
Crossfire with the PWX Heavyweight Championship
around their waist?
--The most defended title in the area will be on
the line once again this Friday as PWX Three
Rivers Champion Dean Radford will take on
"Notorious" Shane Taylor! If you checked the PWX
website after Burgh Brawl 17, it was reported
that Scottie Gash was getting the title shot.
Radford eliminated Gash from Burgh Brawl, but
Gash ran back in and attacked Radford with a
wrench, and got assistance from Shane Taylor to
eliminate Radford from the battle royal.
Championship Committee member Quinn Magnum ruled
that since Gash was already eliminated, he would
NOT recieve the title shot, and instead the last
person to touch Radford before he was eliminated
would get the shot. That man is the
ever-dangerous Shane Taylor. Radford has faced
the near-400 lb. monster several times, but
never with gold on the line. Will Radford be
able to remain champion? What does Gash have to
say about being removed from the title match?
--The PWX Tag Team Championship will also be on
the line! The Order of Total Oblivion, this time
represented by Shirley Doe & Mad Mike, will
defend the titles. Originally, their opponents
were Tony Johnson & Jay Flash after both men
eliminated Mike from Burgh Brawl. But, Flash
unexpectedly pulled out of Friday's event today.
As a result, Flash has forfeited his title shot.
As for his replacement, Johnson's manager Stacy
Hunter has enlisted her other client, Danny
Able, to take Flash's place! Able & Johnson
teamed up a few months back to take on Mad Mike,
the angriest man in wrestling. Crusher Hansen
rushed to Mike's corner and the two disposed of
Hunter's men. This time, Mike will be alongside
Doe. Mike & Doe defeated World's Finest last
month. Will they be able to overcome another
young team looking to make their mark on PWX?
--The Best In Pittsburgh Competition saw an
upheaval 2 weeks ago as both Stryder and Ashton
Amherst were eliminated from the competition.
This Friday, the competition gets a "Crossfire"
twist as each competitior has the opportunity to
choose another competitor's opponent! If you win
your match, you're one step closer to the finals
on June 1st. If you lose, you face elimination
on May 4th at Unforgiven!
--Brandon K chose Chris LeRusso's opponent, and
it's rookie Deion Cruize! Cruize asked K for the
opportunity and he'll get it as he takes on the
"American Psycho" this Friday! Will Cruize score
the huge upset over LeRusso?
--As for Brandon K, his opponent was chosen by
JR Mega. Mega chose the leader of Initiative 51,
Troy Lords! Lords has been leading this strange
group of young men, including AJ Storm, around
PWX. The group injured Stryder at Burgh Brawl,
taking him out of the battle royal before the
match even happened, and putting his immediate
future in PWX in question. With Lords more
violent and unpredictable than ever, how will
the veteran K adapt his gameplan?
--JR Mega's opponent was to be chosen by Chris
Taylor. But, Taylor has decided to put the
decision in YOUR hands! As part of the new "Feel
The eXperience" segment that has been going on
at PWX live events the last few weeks, the fans
will choose Mega's opponent at Crossfire! Any
wrestler in the building on Friday night will be
eligible to face Mega! This could be a benefit
to Mega if that person has wrestled previously
in the evening... but at the same time, he will
go into the match with absolutely no way to
prepare for his opponent!
--Chris Taylor's opponent has been chosen by
Jason Cage. Cage has chosen somebody from
outside PWX, the debuting Nick Mirra! Mirra
comes to Pro Wrestling eXpress touted as one of
the top young light heavyweights in the area.
Will his debut be a successful one? He'll have
an uphill battle as he faces the longest
reigning PWX Heavyweight Champion in the
company's history!
--Jason Cage's opponent was chosen by Chris
LeRusso. LeRusso chose "The Spotlight" Scottie
Gash once he learned that Gash was not getting
the Three Rivers Title shot. Cage and Gash
competed in a much-talked-about Best Of 5 series
in 2012 that culminated in an insane TLC Match
at the 18th Anniversary Show last fall. This
will be the first time these two men meet since
that night, when Cage defeated Gash, eliminating
Gash's chances at a PWX Heavyweight Title
opportunity. Will Gash do the same for Cage's
Best In Pittsburgh chances?
--Plus, in a special tag team attraction, Robert
Parker Williams & Dash Bennett team up once
again as the Greatest American Villains to take
on the returning Iron City Monsters, Bigg &
Beast! The Monsters made their surprise returns
during the Burgh Brawl battle royal after being
away from PWX for several months (aside from a
special Bigg appearance against Chris Taylor).
Will they return to tag team dominance they once
saw in PWX? Or will their momentum be stopped
before it even begins again by RPW & Dash?
--We hope to see you this Friday night at the
Wrestleplex! Bring your signs, be as loud as you
can be, get seen on TV! And remember, PWX
Unleashed airs Saturday morning, 11:00 AM
on WBGN, Verizon Fios channel 22!
PWX wrestling returns to The Wrestleplex (2125
Beacon Street , McKeesport 15132) on Friday,
April 19th with a 7:30 pm bell time .
After months of being put through one test after
after another by Krystal Frost and BC Steele,
Jack Pollock finally got his shot at PWX
Heavyweight Champion Ryan Reign at Burgh Brawl
17... Jack made the most of his opportunity as
he walked out The Wrestleplex the new PWX
Heavyweight Champion.
After coming very close on several occasions to
winning the title against Ryan Reign at the
beginning of 2013, Jack was told by Championship
Committee member Krystal Frost that he would
have to win every match she placed him in if he
wanted another title shot. Jack would go on to
win match after match only to have Krystal say
it wasn't the yet, until fellow Championship
Committee member Quinn Magnum stepped in and
stated that only be more match would take place
in order for Jack to receive the title shot.
Jack had to face the monster Shane Taylor. Jack
did the unthinkable by defeating Taylor and
headed into Burgh Brawl 17 against Ryan Reign
for the title.
Ashton Amherst was made special guest referee
for the title match and many thought he would
hinder Jack in the match, but instead Ashton
called the match right down the middle. Jack and
Ryan Reign went at it for nearly 20 minutes ,
but the crowd erupted when Jack hit his big boot
finisher as Ryan came off of the top rope and
scored the 1,2,3 for the win and the PWX
Heavyweight Title...
Jack's first title defense on Friday, April 19th
will be against Ashton Amherst, winner of Burgh
Brawl 17, and former champion Ryan Reign in a
three way dance that promises to deliver in a
big way
PWX wrestling returns to The Wrestleplex(2125
Beacon St, McKeesport 15132) on Friday, April
19th with a 7:30pm bell time...
Burgh Brawl 17 promised the beginning of the
elimination rounds of the Best In Pittsburgh
competition with someone being taken out of the
competition. Well, not just one man was
eliminated, but two were...
First, BC Steele, acting in place of PWX
Championship Committee member Krystal Frost,
threw Ashton Amherst out of the competition when
Ashton would not adhere to BC's wishes. BC's
decision has been met with a lot of criticism
and rightfully so, but Ashton has stated that he
will not fight the decision as he instead will
focus on becoming a three time PWX Heavyweight
Champion after winning Burgh Brawl 17 thus
giving him a title shot on Friday, April 19th.
Ashton also said that everyone knows who the
true Best In Pittsburgh is....
Stryder found himself eliminated from the Best
In Pittsburgh Competiton as well after losing
his match in the fastest time in a Beat The
Clock format. Stryder was defeated in less than
five minutes by Chris LeRusso, as it was obvious
Stryder suffered a shoulder injury in the
benning of the match. The injury came at the
most in opportune time as it would be Stryder's
downfall in the Competiton. Stryder was then
attacked by Troy Lords and his group Initiative
51. Lords and Initiative 51 finished the job on
Stryder's shoulder and head as they unmercifully
took out the mega popular PWX star. Stryder is
now out indefinitely as we will update everyone
on his progress as soon as we know it..
The Best In Pittsburgh Competition is now down
to 6 men with the next elimination round
beginning on Friday, April 19th as each person
remaining in the competition will pick their
opponents. Anyone who loses will then wrestle
for their Competiton lives at the following
event. Anyone who wins will automatically make
it one step closer to the finals on June 1st
In what is being called the most exciting Burgh
Brawl match in PWX history, Ashton Amherst
outlasted 24 other competitors to win the annual
event.
As a result of winning, Ashton will wrestle the
new PWX Heavyweight Champion Jack Pollock for
the title, but there is a third man now in that
match, as former champion Ryan Reign invoked his
rematch clause thus making the main event on
Friday, April 19 at The Wrestleplex(2125 Beacon
St, McKeesport 15132) with a 7:30pm bell time at
here way dance!
Ashton last eliminated Reign in Burgh Brawl to
pick up the win, which also had its own moments
of surprise or controversy. Reign actually
helped Ashton eliminate Reign's own stablemate
The 400 lb Shane Taylor to bring it to the final
two. Also, Scottie Gash, who was already
eliminated by Three Rivers Champion Dean
Radford, came back into Burgh Brawl and nailed
Radford with a huge wrench and threw him over
the top rope eliminating him. Gash now claims he
should receive a Three Rivers Title shot as a
result.
Leading the way in eliminations was Radford as
he threw out 5 people. Both Shane Taylor and
Ashton Amherst came a close second by throwing
out 4 people each. Brandon K had a very strong
showing by eliminating 3 people in less than two
minutes.
After a very successful Burgh Brawl event, the
stage is set for April 19th for a full scale war
in PWX!!
Wrestling legend Jerry Jarrett will join PWX on
June 29th!!
Jarrett has had an expansive career in the
wrestling business, both as an in-ring
performer, and also behind the scenes as well.
Jarrett was a key part in the most successful
wrestling territories and promotions in history,
including WWE, WCW, and Memphis, and in 2002,
Jerry helped found TNA Wrestling.
PWX is proud to welcome Jerry Jarrett at the PWX
Wrestleplex in McKeesport, PA on June
29th, 2013!
Benjamin C. Steele took to YouTube the night
after Burgh Brawl with his thoughts on the
evening. His charge Ryan Reign lost the PWX
Heavyweight Title to Jack Pollock, and Shane
Taylor got into fisticuffs with Championship
Committtee and Circle of Respect member Quinn
Magnum. Here's what the CEO of SteeleCorp had to
say...

Dean Radford put forth a challenge to anyone not
in PWX to come in and wrestle him for the most
defended title in the area, the PWX Three Rivers
Championship, at the last live event.
That challenge has been accepted by none other
than Adam Flash... Flash has an impressive
resume to his credit having wrestled for the
original ECW, WCW, TNA, Combat Zone Wrestling,
and IWA amongst many other promotions and has
held championships all across the country. This
is not the first time Flash has been to PWX, but
will be the first time he goes after a title in
PWX.
Flash has all the tools to come in and win the
PWX Three Rivers Title and will be the perhaps
the stiffest test to date for the champion.
However, Dean Radford has been referred to as an
unstoppable force in PWX and has had a deathgrip
on the Three Rivers Title while defending it
more than any other title around. Dean carries a
big size advantage into the match and is well
traveled himself having wrestled in Japan and as
far west as California and Arizona.
This is shaping up to be a huge title match on
Saturday, March 23rd at The Wrestleplex(2125
Beacon Street, McKeesport, PA 15132) with a
7:30pm belltime. Doors open at 7:00pm

referring to Best In Pittsburgh Competitor Chris
Taylor as a second rate hack living on past

in the ring on March 23rd and pull himself out
of the Best In Pittsburgh Comptetion that night.
Robinson accepted and now the match is on!

men return to PWX on Saturday, March 23rd at The

Other giveaways are in the works, but you certainly will want to feel the
experience of PWX Live events!!
Jack Pollock made it past is latest test in his
quest to receive another shot at the PWX
Heavyweight Title as he defeated Gory in a hard
fought contest.
PWX Championship Committee Member Krystal Frost
pulled Gory from The Best In Pittsburgh
Competition for one night to end Jack's path to
the the title shot, but her plans blew up in her
face after current champion Ryan Reign attempted
to hit Jack with the title belt, but ended up
hitting Gory instead.
Jack has now made it through both top contenders
Scottie Gash and Gory and awaits an upcoming
three way dance, that looks to be more of a
handicap match, against thugs Dash Bennett and
Robert Parker Willliams, both hired by BC
Steele(manager of current champion Ryan Reign).
The real question is when does Jack actually
earn the title shot? Krystal never put any time
frame on anything just saying Jack needs to win
every match she places him in or he does not get
a title shot for all of 2013. At this point, it
is believed that Krystal has no intentions of
handing over the title shot anytime soon.
Jack may be better served approaching the other
PWX Championship Committee member Quinn Magnum
and hope that he intervenes. Be sure to check
out the next live event and tv taping on Friday,
March 8 at The Wrestleplex(2125 Beacon St,
McKeesport 15132) with a 7:30pm bell time. Go to
www.pwxtv.com for all the latest info
The ongoing Best In Pittsburgh Competiton blew
up this past Saturday night in a big way as the
things have been turned up a notch ..
After Brandon K and Ashton Amherst wrestled to a
time limit draw, Ashton seized the opportunity
to publicly degrade K only to be met with a
super kick to the face from K. JR Mega then made
his way down and attacked K. this was followed
by a spear on Mega from Stryder, who was then
nailed by Gory. Chris LeRusso then took out Gory
which then saw Jason Cage hit his finishing move
on LeRusso. Ashton finally made his way back up
to crush Cage.
It was carnage as eight men laid in the ring,
but the audience knew they had just seen the
Competiton pick up in a big way.
This would carry over later in the night as
Chris LeRusso and Jason Cage attacked one
another in the lockeroom in which it then
carried over into the arena as LeRusso's music
played.
A tag team match later also would also feature
wildness to it as hatred has now become a part
of this Competiton .
Now, on Friday, March 8th at The
Wrestleplex(2125 Beacon Street, McKeesport
15132) with a 7:30pm bell time the Best In
Pittsburgh action will pick up where it left off
with three huge matches in the competition
including a "Submission Only" match featuring
longtime friends and teacher/ student dynamic as
Brandon K meets Chris Taylor.
Ashton Amherst made his long awaited return to
in ring action at PWX by making an impact heard
around the company...
First Ashton and Brandon K went to a time limit
draw in a huge Best In Pittsburgh Competition
matchup, which saw Ashton rip into K for not
having it anymore afterwards.
In a match made earlier in the event, Ashton and
his partner JR Mega defeated Brandon K and
Stryder in the first tag team match in the Best
In Pittsburgh Competition with Ashton pinning
Stryder making Ashton the only undefeated man in
the competition at 1-0-1.
Then, in a surprise move, PWX Championship
Committee member Quinn Magnum made an impromptu
PWX Heavyweight Title match between champion
Ryan Reign and Ashton Amherst. Both men trained
together and have been good friends for years,
but they tore into each other with the biggest
prize in the area on the line. Ashton had Reign
on the ropes, which Reign knew, so Ryan made a
quick exit and took a count out giving Ashton
the win. The crowd took to Ashton in this one
and you have to think Quinn Magnum will make
this happen again very soon!
What will happen at the next live tv taping for
PWX on Friday, March 8th at The Wrestleplex(2125
Beacon Street, McKeesport 15132) with a 7:30pm
bell time?? Check out www.pwxtv.com for all the
latest!
Pro Wrestling eXpress is happy to announce that
on our next live event on Friday, March 8th at
The Wrestleplex(2125 Beacon Street, McKeesport
15132) with a 7:30pm bell time, Matt Justice and
Bobby Beverly make their Wrestleplex and PWX
Unleashed tv show debuts!
Both men are the first part of an influx of new
talent arriving on the PWX scene. Matt Justice
has recently been a part of the WWE
Developmental in Florida and has continued to
impress throughout the independents having been
immensely popular in any promotion he has set
foot in. He now is set to take PWX by storm...
Bobby Beverly, meanwhile, has become one of the
most despised wrestlers in any promotion he
comes to, flaunting his look, physique, and
cocky attitude, while being able to back up
everything he says. Beverly is clever and seems
to always be one step ahead of his competition.
Now he will put his skills to work in PWX...
Join us on Friday, March 8 for another live tv
taping!
Did you catch the
premiere of PWX UNLEASHED last weekend? The
first episode featured Stryder taking on Tanner
Reynolds, and PWX Three Rivers Champion Dean
Radford defending the most defended title in the
area against Payton Graham. The second episode
saw Danny Able facing Mad Mike, and Tony Johnson
squaring off with Brandon K! PWX UNLEASHED
returns tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM on WBGN,
Verizon Fios channel 22!
PWX returns with
another TV Taping for PWX UNLEASHED! PWX presents "REVOLUTION!"
takes place tomorrow night, Saturday February
23rd, 2013 at the Wrestleplex at 2125 Beacon St.
in McKeesport at 7:30 PM.
The PWX Heavyweight Championship will be on the
line as Ryan Reign defends the title against
Jimmy Nutts! If Reign successfully defends ihs
title, he becomes the 5th longest reigning PWX
Heavyweight Champion of all time, passing Ashton
Amherst. Like him or not, should more people
start considering Reign one of the greatest
champions PWX has ever seen?
Speaking of Amherst, he makes his Best In
Pittsburgh Competition debut this Saturday night
in TWO matches! Amherst needs to play catch-up
to everybody else in the competition, so he will
face Chris Taylor in one bout, and Brandon K in
the other! Both K and Taylor are in need of
victories in the competition, with Taylor at 1-1
and K at 1-2. But, it will be a rough night for
Ashton, as both Taylor and K are top-notch
competitors and two of the greatest PWX
wrestlers of all time.
Elsewhere in the competition, JR Mega will take
on Stryder. Stryder is off to a surprisingly
slow start with a 1-2 record, while Mega has a
2-1 record. Meanwhile, Jason Cage will face the
new entrant to the competition Chris LeRusso.
LeRusso entered his name into the hat after a
spot opened at the last event, and defeated
Brandon K in the main event, a Falls Count
Anywhere match. His record stands at 1-1, but
technically LeRusso has yet to lose in the
competition!
Keep in mind, all Best In Pittsburgh matches
have a 10 minute time limit and are subject to
random stipulations (as seen in the incredible
Falls Count Anywhere Match that main evented the
last event).
The most defended title in the Pittsburgh area,
the PWX Three Rivers Title, will see action this
weekend as well! Three Rivers Champion Dean
Radford will defend his title against either
Troy Lords or Payton Graham. Graham & Lords won
a tag team bout against Shirley Doe & Crusher
Hansen at our last event, earning both men a
shot at the title. Knowing Radford, he would
defend the title against both men, but he
already has double duty that night as he will
team with Doe & Hansen to take on Lords, Graham,
& "The Spotlight" Scottie Gash!
"The Next Trending Topic" Jack Pollock is in a
must-win situation as he takes on Gory! At our
last event, Championship Committee member
Krystal Frost stated that in order for Pollock
to get a rematch against PWX Heavyweight
Champion Ryan Reign, Pollock must defeat
everybody Frost puts in front of him. If he
loses, he forfeits any PWX Heavyweight Title
shots for the rest of 2013! His first opponent
was Scottie Gash, and now he has to take on
Gory. It seems Frost is pulling out all the
stops to try and stop Pollock from advancing to
a title shot. Will he be able to survive against
the demonic entity known as Gory?
Frost is on a rampage as of late, as "The
Bi-Polar Bombshell" has ordered Mad Mike to take
on Stacy Hunter's duo of Danny Able & Tony
Johnson! This is apparently out of nowhere, as
Mike hasn't been involved in any business with
Frost as of late. Surely, this will make the
angriest man in professional wrestling even more
angry, especially if he would be to come up on
the losing end against the two young lions!
"Notorious" Shane Taylor will also be in action,
with Benjamin C. Steele claiming he's too
injured to take on Jack Pollock. Instead, he
will face the PWX Young Lions Cup holder, the
"Ballistic Missile" Jay Flash! Flash is going to
have to use his speed, quickness, and agility to
stay on his toes against this unstoppable
monster and his crippling lariat.
There will also be a pre-show dark match as "The
X-Factor" Deion Cruize will face Jason Cages's
protege, AJ Storm!
We hope to see you this Saturday night at the
Wrestleplex! Bring your signs, be as loud as you
can be, get seen on TV! And remember, PWX
Unleashed airs Saturday morning, 11:00 AM
on WBGN, Verizon Fios channel 22!
PWX returns with
another TV Taping! PWX presents "Stay Tuned..."
takes place this Saturday night, January 26th,
2013 at the Wrestleplex at 2125 Beacon St. in
McKeesport at 7:30 PM. This taping for PWX's
upcoming UNLEASHED show on WBGN (Saturdays at
11:00 AM starting February 2nd) will feature 11
huge matches!
The PWX Heavyweight Championship will be on the
line as Ryan Reign defends the title against an
opponent of his choice. After Krystal Frost
revealed her alliance with Reign at New Years
Knockout, who can stop the champion?
PWX Three Rivers Champion Dean Radford will once
again defend his title against "The Spotlight"
Scottie Gash! Gash came within inches of
capturing the Three Rivers Title, even injuring
Radford's leg in the process. Will the champ be
100% going into this match?
The Best In Pittsburgh Competition continues
Saturday night! There has been a slight change
in the line-up, however...
Ashton Amherst sustained an injury while filming
a movie in the past week, and will be unable to
compete this weekend. However, he will be in
attendance with a reaction to some comments made
about him elsewhere recently!
Gory will now be taking on Chris Taylor! This
will be both men's first matches in the Best In
Pittsburgh Competition after missing New Years
Knockout. A victory here for Gory would be huge,
not only propelling his stock in PWX with a win
over the longest reigning PWX Champion ever, but
also giving him a huge boost to start the
Competition. Will Taylor be able to withstand
the onslaught of Gory? Or will evil prevail over
good
Also in the Best In Pittsburgh Competition,
Brandon K will take on Stryder! Two of the most
popular stars in PWX history will do battle in
this one. K started off the competition on a
high note, defeating JR Mega. Meanwhile, Stryder
stumbled out of the gate, losing via submission
to Jason Cage. Will K be able to take a big lead
in the competition? Or will Stryder even up his
Best In Pittsburgh record?
In the other Best In Pittsurgh match, JR Mega
will take on Jason Cage! Cage started off the
competition with a huge submission victory over
Stryder. Meanwhile, Mega started off with a loss
against Brandon K. Will Cage be able to pull out
to a 2-0 start? Or will Mega stop his momentum
with a win for himself?
The future of PWX will be showcased as Danny
Able takes on Futures Cup winner Jay Flash! Able
revealed at New Years Knockout that he has
enlisted the services of the "Queen of Mean"
Stacy Hunter. Will his delusional win streak
finally begin to materialize against the
"Ballistic Missile"?
Tony Johnson faces the angriest man in
professional wrestling, Mad Mike! Johnson has
been turning heads lately, but Mike is eager to
get back into the Heavyweight Title hunt. Will
Johnson get the win to skyrocket his PWX career?
Or will Mike prove once again why he is a PWX
icon?
Jack Pollock will have to find a partner as he
will be taking on The Exceptions in tag team
action! Krystal Frost effectively eliminated
Pollock from Heavyweight Title contention at New
Years Knockout, aligning herself with champion
Ryan Reign. But now, she seems to want to
eliminate "The Next Trending Topic" from PWX
altogether, hiring Marcus Mann's tandem but not
assigning Jack a partner! Does Jack have someone
to watch is back this Saturday night?
In a match just announced today, PWX Tag Team
Champion Shirley Doe will take on "The Absolute"
Troy Lords! With Apollyon on the sidelines with
an injury, Doe will go it alone against the man
who claims he's the "absolute best" in PWX.
These two men are no stranger to one another,
but haven't had a singles battle in quite some
time. Who will emerge victorious here?
Plus, "Notorious" Shane Taylor will be in
action! This time, the opponent will be AJ
Storm, a young PWX talent with a bright future.
Despite BC Steele's claims that Taylor is
"rehabbing a shoulder injury" sustained against
Jack Pollock, Taylor seems to be having no
problem demolishing the young lions in PWX. Will
Storm pull off a huge upset victory here? Or is
he being led to slaughter against the monster?
We hope to see you this Saturday night at the
Wrestleplex! Bring your signs, be as loud as you
can be, get seen on TV! And remember, PWX
Unleashed premieres Saturday morning, 11:00 AM
on WBGN!
Tomorrow begins one of
the most important periods in PWX history. Our
live event is New Year's Knockout, tomorrow
night, Friday January 11th, 2013 at 7:30 PM. New
Year's Knockout will take place at the PWX
Wrestleplex at 2125 Beacon St. in McKeesport,
PA. It will feature 10 huge matches and all your
favorite PWX stars, headlined by a PWX
Heavyweight Title Match as champion Ryan Reign
defends the title against Jack Pollock with
special guest referee Krystal Frost! Reign has
left Frost laid out in the ring over the last
several shows. What dynamic will she provide in
the match? Plus, PWX Three Rivers Champion Dean
Radford will defend his title against "The
Spotlight" Scottie Gash!
New Year's Knockout also marks the first PWX TV
Taping in over a decade as we film for our new
show on WBGN, PWX Unleashed! PWX Unleashed will
debut Saturday morning, February 2nd at 11:00
AM! Make sure to wake up with PWX on February
2nd, or set your DVRs for WBGN at 11:00 AM!
Tomorrow night also marks the beginning of the
Best In Pittsburgh Competition! Eight of
Pittsburgh's best wrestlers will compete over
several months to determine who really is the
"Best In Pittsburgh"!
Already entered are "The Steel City Prodigy"
Ryan Mitchell, Gory, Ashton Amherst, JR Mega,
"The Pittsburgh Punisher" Jason Cage, Chris
Taylor, and "First Klass" Brandon K! Stryder and
Tanner Reynolds will do battle that night to
determine the 8th entrant into the competition.
Ryan Mitchell recently made his return to PWX,
but isn't the same man we've known in the past.
Now, MItchell is driven purely by the
advancement of his own career rather than the
opinion of his fans, fellow wrestlers, or even
his best friends. Mitchell is one of the most
accomplished young wrestlers in PWX today,
having captured both the PWX Heavywight and
Three Rivers Championships. He also won the
second-annual Sean "Shocker" Evans Memorial
Tournament, and has always been a mainstay in
the title scene when he has been in PWX.
Gory is a newcomer to PWX, but not to Pittsburgh
wrestling. In the eight years since his debut,
Gory has been touted as one of the best and
brightest stars to emerge from Pittsburgh,
capturing titles all along the East Coast and in
the Midwest. This evil and demonic young man was
once known as Jason Gory, but refuses to be
called by his first name anymore, as "Jason"
humanizes him. While he hasn't competed in PWX
very long, he holds a victory over the
second-longest reigning PWX Heavyweight Champion
Stryder, a feat which not many people can say
they've conquered.
Ashton Amherst returned to PWX purely to enter
the Best In Pittsburgh Competition. The former
PWX Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion called
himself the Best In Pittsburgh for years, and
many believed that PWX could not hold this
competition without him. With Jimmy Nutts
eliminating himself from the competition, a spot
was left open and Ashton emerged from the crowd
and took out his longtime manager and member of
the Championship Committee Krystal Frost before
signing his name on the dotted line to join the
competition.
JR Mega can probably be credited as the man who
started the discussion about who really was the
"Best In Pittsburgh". While teaming and
subsequently splitting with Ashton Amherst, fans
began chanting "Best In Pittsburgh" not towards
Ashton, but rather Mega. This former PWX Three
Rivers and Tag Team Champion has been one of the
more polarizing figures in PWX as of late, with
half the crowd behind him and half the crowd
hating him. Mega has made it to the finals of
the Sean "Shocker" Evans Memorial Tournament
several times, but has fallen short each time.
Will he finally win the big one, this time in
the form of the "Best In Pittsburgh"
Competition?
Jason Cage defeated five other men to earn his
spot in the Best In Pittsburgh Competition,
something none of the other combatants had to
do. His victory over Jay Flash, Tony Johnson,
Ryan Castelucci, Troy Lords, and Chris LeRusso
to enter the competition, as well as his recent
performances against PWX Heavyweight Champion
Ryan Reign have proven that Cage deserves to be
in this competition just as much as everybody
else. Will "The Pittsburgh Punisher" be the one
to walk away being called The Best In
Pittsburgh?
Chris Taylor is what some call the "measuring
stick" in PWX. He is a Grand Slam Winner,
holding the PWX Heavyweight, Three Rivers, Brass
Knuckles, and Tag Team Titles. He has won Burgh
Brawl (twice) and was the first winner of the
Sean "Shocker" Evans Memorial Tournament. Taylor
has proved time and time again it's not
necessarily the size of the dog in the fight,
but the size of the fight in the dog. What
Taylor lacks in size, he more than makes up for
in heart, determination, and ability. He is the
longest reigning PWX Heavyweight Champion in
this company's 18+ year history, and remains one
of the top competitors to this day.
Brandon K is the only member of the PWX Circle
of Respect to be entered into the Best In
Pittsburgh Competition. For over 15 years, K has
been lighting up PWX rings, and has captured
virtually every title to be won in the company's
history. He is a Burgh Brawl winner, and has
even held the NWA North American Tag Team
Championship. He is also the only person in the
competition to have trained another "Best In
Pittsburgh" challenger (Chris Taylor). But don't
let his veteran status fool anybody. Brandon can
still hang with the young bucks in PWX, and is
one of the best wrestlers to step foot in a PWX
ring. Will that mean success for him in this
competition?
All this plus much much more! Stay tuned to
prowrestlingexpress.com for more information on
the Best In Pittsburgh Competition in the coming
weeks, including a mini-site, more information
about the involvement of wrestling legend Jerry
Jarrett, and much much more!
We hope to see you tomorrow night at the
Wrestleplex!
At PWX's 18th Anniversary Show on October 27th,
Stryder faced off against the thorn in his side
in recent months, Tanner Reynolds. Reynolds
returned to PWX several months prior, with an
agenda against the former PWX Heavyweight
Champion, and their first in-ring battle came at
the Anniversary Show.
During the course of the match, Stryder
attempted several times to lock in his
Cloverleaf submission hold, but to no avail.
Finally, he got Reynolds in the hold and locked
it in... but Reynolds reached the ropes. With
rookie referee Lacey Lynn right there in the
action, nearly at the same moment he grabbed the
bottom rope, Reynolds also tapped out to the
Cloverleaf. A fancam version of the incident can
be viewed here, thanks to PWX superfan Ken
Burch:
Speculation has run rampant about the decision.
Did Lacey Lynn make the right decision? If
Reynolds grabbed the rope, should the hold have
been broken immediately? Or does the tap out
signify a submission on Reynolds' end, no matter
if he grabbed the rope or not? Does the
referee's five count to break a hold come into
play here?
Since that night, Reynolds and his camp
(including manager Marcus Mann and his other
charges The Exceptions) have been blowing up
social media, calling Stryder a "liar" and
"fraud". Rumor has it that Reynolds will be
demanding an apology this Saturday night,
November 10th at Fallout.
Reynolds will also have his hands full on
Saturday as he takes on the new PWX Futures Cup
winner Jay Flash. Meanwhile, Stryder takes on
SteeleCorp member Chris LeRusso. What will
happen when this explosive situation comes to a
head on Saturday? Does Tanner Reynolds actually
have a case??
It was to be a good night for SteeleCorp. Robert
Parker Williams was to defeat Jay Flash, Ryan
Reign was to have the night off, and Chris
LeRusso was to retain his 3 Rivers title against
Stryder. I even had a surprise for Jack Pollock.
That surprise being the monster Shane Taylor.
The peak of the night (for me) was to be me
defeating Crusher Hansen. Not all went according
to plan.
I lay here a beaten man. I have been in
wrestling over 11 years and with reffing,
managing, wrestling, and even ring announcing...
I have been a part of over 1000 matches. In all
that time, I have never taken a beating like I
did tonight at the hands of Crusher Hansen. My
chest is bloody, my brain is scrambled, and
there isn't a part of my body that doesn't hurt.
I apologize to Mr. LeRusso for not being able to
make it out for his match. I was being attended
to by medics.
I am not a wrestler. I never claimed to be. I am
a fine man. The kind of man you hope your
daught...
er, sister, or good female friend will marry. I
am educated. I'm sweet. I smell nice. Tonight
however, I learned there are some things that I
am not completely skilled in.
To those concerned I say the hell with you. I
don't want or need your pity or well-wishes.
Unless you're LeRusso, RPW, Ryan Reign, or Dash
Bennett, I have no need for you.
I have a follow up appointment with my physician
and a meeting with SteeleCorp legal counsel
later this week. That notwithstanding, I still
do have the PWX 3 Rivers Champion and the PWX
Heavyweight Champion as my charges. Not all is
lost. I shall move forward.
Dictated but not read,

We're back with the
15th
installment of our post-event feature, "After
The Bell". The latest episode features the stars
of PWX discussing the events of the previous
Summer Scorcher event, and gearing up for this
Saturday night's August Anarchy!
Pro Wrestling eXpress' Singles Rankings are the
only accurate and legitimate rankings around.
Wrestlers are ranked according to how they
perform in the ring with wins, losses, title
wins, title defenses, quality of competition,
and wins against people who have been to the top
of the mountain and reigned as the Heavywight
Champion in PWX. These are not subjective
rankings just thrown together, but are truly
earned.
As of June 27th, 2012, a wrestler can only earn
a PWX Hedavyweight Championship Match by holding
a ranking within the Top 8. A wrestler can only
earn a PWX Three Rivers Championship Match by
holding a ranking within the Top 12. The PWX
Brass Knuckles Title will be the only title that
is still the Champion's Choice as far as who
receives a title match. This ois the only way
for an up and coming or lower ranked wrestler to
climb into the top end of the rankings...by
winning this title.
The rankings are based off of an intricate point
system designed to accuratley rank wrestlers for
their in ring performance.
The point system is as follows:
15pts for PWX Heavyweight Title win
10pts for PWX Three Rivers or PWX Brass Knuckles
Title win, Sean 'Shocker' Evans Memorial
Tournament win, Burgh Brawl win
7pts for PWX Tag-Team Title win
5pts for singles(3-way, 4-way, etc counts here)
win via pinfall or submission
3pts for tag-team win, singles win via dq or
countout
2pts for singles win via pinfall or submission
against a former PWX Heavyweight Champion or a
successful title defense via pinfall or
submission or win via pinfall or submission
versus a Top 5 ranked contender
1pt for win via pinfall or submission versus a
contender ranked 6 thru 10, a successful title
defense via dq or countout, or strength of
competition point awarded for an excellent
showing versus a superior ranked contender

For months now Ashton Amherst has been claiming
that he is the 'Best In Pittsburgh' and now has
added gold around his waist after defeating
champion JR Mega and Mad Mike in a three way
dance to win the PWX Brass Knuckles
Championship.
Amherst has been dominating PWX in recent
months, not by wins and losses, but by the
amount of attacks he and his own army 'The
Overlooked New Youth Movement' have conducted.
Top PWX star after top PWX star have been
subject to an attack as Amherst has successfully
created the chaos he has been seeking.
Now with gold around his waist once again,
Ashton has stated that he will take a boring
championship like the Brass Knuckles Title and
make it the most sought after title, not only in
PWX, but all of Pittsburgh!
The main event at The
Wrestleplex this past Saturday saw two of the
most popular wrestlers in Pro Wrestling eXpress
today Brandon K and Heavyweight Champion Stryder
deliver in a huge way!
PWX Heavyweight
Champion Stryder was seeking the chance to croos
the 1 year mark as champion, but he had a very
tough test in former three time heavyweight
champion Brandon K. K was the winner of Burgh
Brawl 16 thus earning the title shot as a
result.
K and Stryder put on
what many are saying was a wrestling clinic as
the two men proved why only PWX can deliver the
biggest bang for ther best price. These two men
went move for move and counter for counter for
over ten minutes as the crowd was chanting K's
name for half of the match and Stryder's name
for the other half. People were literally on the
edge of their seats as it appeared each man had
the other defeated only to see each man come b
ack for more again and again!
Ultimately, the match
saw a shady ending as the entire Steele Corp hit
the ring and attacked both men. Steele Corp
leader BC Steele boldly proclaimed that his men
were now all equally focused on bring the PWX
Heavyweight Title to Steele Corp as well as
ending the legend that is Brandon K in PWX.
Steele has publicly shown his despisal of K's
loyalty to Pro Wrestling eXpress saying that he
does not 'get' the fans infatuation with K only
being able to be seen in a PWX ring. The
interesting part of this is the fact that BC
Steele and his entire Steele Corp can also only
be seen in PWX in the entire Pittsburgh area.
Anyone who missed the
classic contest between Stryder and Brandon K
surely missed what type of top notch homegrown
talent PWX has to offer. This saw a battle
scarred veteran like Brandon K against a true
young star in Stryder in a perfect mix of past
and present.
